We are currently developing a new legal services framework for the wider public sector, to replace the recently expired Legal Services framework (RM919). The Wider Public Sector Legal Services framework will help organisations including NHS trusts, schools, universities, local authorities and charities access expert legal advice from a diverse range of small, medium and large firms, across a vast range of legal specialisms.
The framework will offer you a choice of options:
- Regional lot – bidders will have the opportunity to demonstrate expertise in a minimum of one mandatory legal area and one UK region
- ‘Full service’ lot – designed to deliver a suite of mandatory legal services across multiple disciplines within the jurisdictional areas of England & Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland
- Three specialist lots – with UK wide coverage; Property & Construction, Rail and Cost Lawyer Services.
Other key features include the ability to direct award, as well as run further competitions, and expanded services offering covering practice areas targeted specifically to wider public sector organisations.
We’re looking for people to help evaluate the supplier bids to ensure we have the most capable suppliers, which offer best value for money and meet your needs. It’s a great learning and development opportunity as well.
You’ll be given 1 question to evaluate. How long it will take to evaluate the question will depend on how you choose to plan your time. Training will be provided and will take about 40 minutes.
If you’re interested in getting involved and would like to find out more please get in touch stating ‘WPS Legal Services evaluation’ in the comments box.
