We are pleased to announce our much anticipated G-Cloud 10 framework is now live and open for business.
G-Cloud gives public and third sector organisations a way to purchase cloud-based services such as web hosting and cloud software from a single, central website. The framework is for commodity based, pay-as-you go cloud services across 3 lots – Cloud Hosting, Cloud Software and Cloud Support.
3,505 suppliers – with more than 90 per cent of them SMEs – have been awarded places on the new G-Cloud 10 CCS framework – 649 more than G-Cloud 9.
Since 2012, more than £3 billion of cloud and digital services have been procured by public organisations through G-Cloud, with 48% of that spend going directly to SMEs.
G-Cloud is accessed through the Digital Marketplace – created in 2014 by CCS and Government Digital Service (GDS) to make public sector procurement easier and more transparent.
